Case Overview

The Luoning County National Fitness Sports Activity Center is located south of Funing Avenue and north of Binhe Avenue in Luoning County. The project covers a total planned area of 191.67 mu, with a total investment of approximately 350 million yuan and a total construction area of about 41,052.09 square meters.

The main buildings include a gymnasium, a natatorium, a national fitness hall, a stadium stand (stadium), and an outdoor platform. Among them:The gymnasium is 3 stories above ground;The natatorium and national fitness hall are 3 stories above ground and 1 story underground;The stadium stand is 2 stories above ground.Supporting infrastructure includes roads, greening, water and electricity systems, parking lots, etc. Training and competition equipment, video and audio systems, and monitoring systems will also be procured. The project adopts prefabricated production and on-site rapid installation to improve construction efficiency, meet rapid assembly requirements, and control assembly accuracy and construction schedule.

The structural forms of the natatorium, national fitness hall, gymnasium, stands, and outdoor platform are all reinforced concrete frame structures. The foundations adopt independent foundations or raft foundations respectively, and the roof structures mostly use spatial lattice shell structures.

Tiankai Southeast’s Participation.Tiankai Southeast Green Building Technology (Henan) Co., Ltd. provided integrated services for steel structure lattice shell + steel component fabrication and installation for the project. The core “Sun and Moon Shining Together” shaped spatial lattice shell roof and main steel structure system feature spatial pipe truss/lattice shell components as key elements.This solution adapts to the large-span and large-space requirements of the gymnasium, overcoming challenges in the curved surface accuracy and overall stability of spatial lattice shells, and demonstrating the efficiency and aesthetic advantages of prefabricated steel structures in public buildings. Non-destructive testing (NDT) was implemented at key nodes, with 100% inspection of lattice shell intersecting line welds, column-beam joints, etc., to ensure compliance with national standards.

The company also participated in detailed design and BIM collaboration, supporting the general contractor in completing the detailed construction drawing design of the gymnasium steel structure. It focused on optimizing the structure and stress performance of spatial lattice shells, special-shaped joints, and large-span roofs. Through BIM modeling, clash detection, and construction simulation, it ensured precise coordination between components and mechanical, electrical, and curtain wall disciplines, and optimized the installation sequence.
