Case Overview
Jinan Yaoqiang International Airport is one of China’s major entry ports and trunk airports. It is located at the junction of Licheng District and Zhangqiu District in Jinan City, Shandong Province, approximately 23 kilometers southwest of the city center of Jinan.
On August 27, 2022, the Phase II expansion and renovation project of Jinan International Airport was fully launched. Designed for an annual passenger throughput of 55 million and an annual cargo and mail throughput of 520,000 tons, the project has been listed by the Ministry of Transport as a national demonstration project for aviation-led smart integrated passenger transport hubs. The main construction contents include a new 4F-class west flight area with two runways and supporting systems, a new 600,000-square-meter T2 terminal building, and a new 380,000-square-meter integrated transportation center.
Tiankai Southeast Green Building Technology (Henan) Co., Ltd. participated in the steel structure works of the Phase II expansion and renovation project of Jinan Yaoqiang Airport. Leveraging its strengths in steel structure manufacturing, the company provided steel structure products and related services for the project. Specifically, Tiankai Southeast’s work in the project included the design, fabrication and installation of steel structural components, whose products and services have played a vital role in ensuring the structural stability and safety of the airport buildings.
